Orlando, Florida is becoming more and more gay friendly every day. We are excited to say that the City of Orlando is now the first government in Central Florida to establish a Domestic Partnership Registry. Now same-sex couples have some of the same, basic rights that other couples in committed relationships have. We are finally catching up! Follow this link to get more information on domestic partnerships in Orlando, Florida: http://www.cityoforlando.net/cityclerk/domestic_partnership.htm
(Please be advised that Orlando has not legalized gay marriage. Vote for your rights!)
Orlando is also rated one of the top tourist destinations in America. Along with many other attractions, Orlando is the home of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World. As a Lesbian who resides in Orlando, I would say that over all it is a gay friendly city. The LGBT community is very united, especially during special events such as, Gay days in June and the Pride Parade in October.
