There are many destinations around the world that are gay friendly. There are also those places which we'd rather stay away from due to discrimination against gays/lesbians. As members of the gay/lesbian community, we deserve the right to enjoy ourselves while vacationing. Prior to planning, most of us would like to have an understanding of what type of treatment we should expect. We want to make sure that we are not discriminated against, as the point of going on a vacation getaway is to enjoy ourselves and be pampered. Lets share our thoughts on destinations which we would recommend to other gay travelers.

As we work hard every day of our lives, vacationing becomes extremely essential to many of us. We all deserve a chance to get away from all of our troubles, so the last thing we want to do is travel to a destination where we do not feel welcomed. Most are aware that LGBT travelers are not welcomed in certain destinations around the world. Unfortunately, we still have those who are ignorant and do not like others who are different from them.

Please expose good or bad with other gay/lesbian travelers. This will give them an idea of what to expect when vacationing at a specific destination.
